The causing of obstacles were with a good intention

The causing of obstacles were with a good intention

On some occasions, the lord vigneswarar had indeed created obstacles. When the lord Siva was leaving in his chariot to destroy the Tripura, lord vignsewarar caused the axle of the wheel of the chariot to break, because lord Siva left without thinking of him. But this was also done to convey the message to us that even the lord Siva should acknowledge and respect the roles of other deities in the universe and their authorities – never to vengefully create an obstacle and cause any damage. One should obey the rules; he occasionally creates obstacles to show that the laws of nature are more important than the individual – even if the individual be a lord, and that any one should be humble and compliant. Therefore, those who faced obstacles in his stories were never terminated at the end. It is so because the lord who created the obstacles, teaches a positive lesson to the individual that, "I faced the obstacle because forgot all about the lord responsible for removing obstacles in the rule of the goddess mother and try to embark on the task thinking that I can accomplish on my own" and guides him to humbly pray to the lord vigneswarar. After that he doubly grants boons. He is the vigna raja.
